The Spanish real estate<\/strong> sector begins a new course with good statistics<\/strong>. This fact leads us to believe that there is hope in consolidating its recovery<\/strong>. In the second term of 2015, the price of housing increased 5.1%<\/strong>. If we compare it with the same period of 2014, which was 2.65%, we see an obvious rise<\/strong> in this year\u00b4s figure. The economic improvement has influenced the increase in the demand for housin<\/strong>g. Nowadays, it is easier to obtain a bank credit or a mortgage loan than it was previously when the crisis was at its worst. Nevertheless, the banks continue to impose restrictive measures.<\/p>\n

MORTGAGES ARE ON THE INCREASE<\/strong><\/p>\n

In June 2015, 21.454 mortgages were signed<\/strong>. This means that if we compare the number with the ones signed in June 2014, there has been an increase of 26.3%<\/strong>. Sale and purchase transactions reached a total of 87.187<\/strong> during the second term of 2015. It is 11% higher than the same period in 2014. This is a clear indication that the recovery of the real estate sector<\/strong> in Spain is an obvious fact.<\/p>\n

THE MADRID AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY IS ONE OF THE MOST VIBRANT IN SPAIN<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Madrid Autonomous Community<\/strong> has carried out the largest number of real estate operations<\/strong> in the region. In June 2015, 4.201 mortgages<\/strong> were signed. This figure was only exceeded by Andalusia which sold 4.245 houses. In the third place, we have Catalonia, with 2.713 houses sold. Madrid is the region with the highest lending capital in Spain<\/strong> with an amount of 570 million euros. Madrid is far above Andalusia with 371 million euros and Catalonia with 319 million euros.<\/p>\n

THE FOREIGN BUYER, AN UPWARD TREND<\/strong><\/p>\n

If we take into account the large number of mortgages that have been granted, this leads us to suppose that there is a recovery of the Spanish real estate market<\/strong>. Statistics show us that we are at the level of December 2012. We must point out that the sale of old houses has amply outscored new housing. It strikes us that there is an increase of foreigners in the demand for housing<\/strong>.
