The reservoir of Entrepe\u00f1as<\/strong> is one of our favourite places to rest and to unwind surrounded by nature<\/strong>. <\/span>If you go there you will find stunning landscapes like “Boca del Infierno<\/em>” ( Hell\u00b4s Mouth)<\/strong> with its turquoise coloured water<\/strong> which twists and turns between two hills full of vegetation and light brown soil<\/strong>. Furthermore, in the horizon we can see a mountain with beautiful trees.<\/span><\/p>\n

The reservoir has plenty of small motor boats and sailing boats.<\/span><\/div>\n
Do you wish to relax without having to go far away from Madrid ? <\/span><\/div>\n
The Entrepe\u00f1as reservoir is the best option!!!<\/span><\/div>\n

SEA IN THE MIDDLE OF CASTILE<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The deep blue colour of the water<\/strong> of the river Tajo and its sailing boats<\/strong> gently moving up and down, makes the surroundings look like a picture postcard!!!! Along the banks of the\u00a0reservoir of Entrepe\u00f1as<\/strong><\/span> there are several villages in an area called Alcarria Baja<\/strong>, which is in the province of Guadalajara. This is where the reservoir is located, at around 110 kms. from Madrid.<\/span><\/div>\n

There are other smaller reservoirs nearby. Thus, this part of Guadalajarra is known as the “Sea of Castille”<\/strong>. It is a remarkable place to do water sports<\/strong>. This is due to the fact that the Entrepe\u00f1as reservoir is extremely deep<\/strong>. If you ramble along the nearby paths, you will come upon the “Ruta de las Caras”<\/strong> . Here, there are large sculptures<\/strong> carved in the limestone rocks. They were done by amateurs in 1992.<\/span><\/div>\n

A BUILDING WHICH STANDS OUT IN A UNIQUE LOCATION<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

In the residential area of Pe\u00f1alagos<\/strong>, on the bank of the reservoir, we can see the striking house<\/strong> designed by Rafael de la Joya<\/strong>, a renowned architect. <\/span><\/div>\n

This house is situated in a plot of land of 6.000 square metres. It has direct access to the reservoir of Entrepe\u00f1as<\/strong>. <\/span><\/div>\n

The magnificent\u00a0house is large, with very high ceilings<\/strong> and visible beams<\/strong>. <\/span><\/div>\n

The porches are fantastic<\/strong> as the view of the garden full of olive trees<\/strong>\u00a0make them a special place to relax in.<\/span><\/div>\n

It also has a swimming pool<\/strong>. Without doubt, it is very appealing to have a house in such a place!!!<\/span><\/div>\n
