The figures speak for themselves. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ine.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica<\/a>, shows that <strong>real estate deals<\/strong> have increased <strong>more than 23% (exactly 23,1%)<\/strong> during January 2018 with regard to January 2017. The total number of deals carried out amount to <strong>47.289<\/strong> which means it is the highest figure for nearly a decade. Recently, we wrote an article about <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/flats-are-sold-at-full-speed\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">housing sales in Spain which take place at a very swift pace<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>We said that the average period of time that <strong>a house lasts on sale is usually less than nine months<\/strong>. If we focus only on the city of Madrid, then the time is reduced to one third.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Having seen these facts and figures, it is hardly surprising that the growth of <strong>real estate in Spain has progressively increased<\/strong> month after month. It is very significant that <strong>in the last 23 of 24 months there has been an increase regarding housing deals in Spain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29125\" src=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/01-vivienda-2018-1.jpg\" alt=\"real estate in 2018\" width=\"650\" height=\"410\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/01-vivienda-2018-1.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/01-vivienda-2018-1-300x189.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>NEW HOUSING AND OLD HOUSING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">In this blog, we recently wrote an article about <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/housing-in-2018-good-forecast\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">the good forecasts regarding housing in 2018<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>In that article, we said that most real estate experts predicted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/housing-prices-on-the-rise-till-the-year-2020\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>a growth in this sector until 2020<\/strong><\/a>. Let us see what happens. Undoubtedly, <strong>the year 2018 has begun with the real estate market on the rise<\/strong>. Even though the old housing market is well in the lead with regard to new housing ( last January, <strong>82,5% of housing deals were for old housing whereas only 17,5% corresponded to new housing<\/strong>), it is interesting to point out that the number of <strong>new housing deals increased 23,5% with respect to January 2017<\/strong>. These facts and figures are similar to the ones of <strong>resale homes whose sales have increased 23% with regard to January 2017<\/strong>. In January 2018, <strong>39.017 resale homes were sold<\/strong> and these figures had never taken place since 2007. This means that although there still exists a difference in the number of deals between new and old housing, <strong>the new housing is little by little recovering<\/strong> from what it lost when the real estate bubble burst.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29126\" src=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/02-vivienda-2018-1.jpg\" alt=\"real estate in 2018\" width=\"650\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/02-vivienda-2018-1.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/02-vivienda-2018-1-300x222.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>IN MADRID DEALS TAKE PLACE AT A GOOD PACE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">According to the <strong>Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica<\/strong>, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/housing-prices-in-madrid-are-on-the-rise\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">real estate system in Madrid is going through good times.<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>In January 2018, <strong>housing deals increased 14,2%<\/strong> with regard to January 2017 when <strong>6.526 deals were carried out<\/strong>. Some real estate surveys show <strong>a revaluation in residential areas in the Community of Madrid<\/strong><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>with an increase of nearly 7%. If we only take into account the city of Madrid, then we can confirm a generalized rise in price which clearly reveals <a href=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/in-search-of-housing-in-madrid\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>an existing demand and a difficulty in finding, at present, housing in Madrid<\/strong><\/a>.
