In Estate One<\/strong>, we have already started to work and we scrupulously follow the protocol against COVID-19<\/strong>, so that we meet the maximum protection measures in every single visit<\/strong>. The world has started, little by little, to return to its activity after the coronavirus health crisis<\/strong>. In this blog, we already gave <\/a>some tips for working at home<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Also, we wrote about the forecast for housing in the coming years<\/a><\/strong>, and how this health crisis<\/strong> can determine real estate activity, in Spain<\/strong>, in the short and medium term. In Estate One<\/strong>, we want to share with all of you the performance protocols that we follow in every visit<\/strong>. Work is important, but above all, we care about the health of our clients <\/strong>and so we want you to know, first-hand, about our efforts so that your health is not at risk<\/strong>. Today, we will go through the main aspects of the performance protocols recommended to every real estate agency in Madrid<\/strong> by Colegio Oficial de Agentes Inmobiliarios de Madrid<\/a><\/strong>. MANDATORY AND RECOMMENDABLE SECURITY MEASURES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When Estate One schedules a visit<\/strong>, we set a maximum number of persons<\/strong> on the basis of the surface of the property we are going to view. In addition, we also take into account the minimum two-metre security distance<\/strong> which must always be respected between two persons. Furthermore, we avoid excessive concentration of people in the property by making longer intervals between the visits<\/strong>. Obviously, all our agents are equipped with mandatory and recommendable safety means<\/strong>, and they also inform the client about their use if he\/she fails to do so. The security measures are protective masks<\/strong> (mandatory for both the agent and the client), disposal gloves<\/strong> (recommended for the agent and the client), disposal booties<\/strong> (recommended for the agent and the client) and lastly, hydroalcoholic gel to sterilize hands<\/strong> (this is mandatory for the agent). Under no circumstances do we have Open House visits. Before each visit takes place, we check and confirm that none of the parties (our agent, the client and the owner) have any COVID-19 symptoms<\/strong>, or that they are completing the quarantine due to having had contact with those infected. Likewise, we inform the clients about every standard that must be followed during the visit<\/strong> and hence, we get in touch with them beforehand. All our agents have their temperature taken before each visit <\/strong>and we do the same with the client so as to make sure that nobody has fever symptoms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ENSURING YOUR SAFETY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In each visit, we avoid greetings <\/strong>with a handshake or a kiss so as to prevent physical contact<\/strong>. In the event of a sneeze, we cover our mouth with disposal tissues and we use the inside of the elbow<\/strong>. Our agents always keep the recommended safety distance<\/strong> (two metres) and only the agent, the buyer and the owner are present at the visit<\/strong>. In order to gain access to the property, we use the stairs <\/strong>(never the lift so as to avoid closeness to other people), and once inside, we do not touch any surface or furniture<\/strong>. Furthermore, we do not visit communal areas and we try to minimize the time of the visit<\/strong> so as to avoid possible contagion. Lastly, if our agent perceives that anybody has any symptoms of this disease<\/strong>, the visit will be immediately cancelled<\/strong>.
