According to <strong>a recent study carried out by the company Idealista<\/strong>, these are the four Spanish cities, in which to buy property, where the most expensive neighbourhoods are located. Which are these neighbourhoods? What are the prices? Today, we will discover them and we will also calculate <strong>what we could buy with a budget starting at one million euros <\/strong>(we must not forget that we are referring to <strong>the most luxurious neighbourhoods in Spain<\/strong> and thus it is essential to make an important investment). Some weeks ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/luxury-housing-in-spain-a-moderate-price-increase-2\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">we wrote an article in this blog about t<strong>he moderate price increase of luxury housing in our country<\/strong><\/a>. In that article, we said that during the first six months of the year, the purchase of high standing property had increased 1,5% in Madrid and 1,4% in Barcelona. It seems clear that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/good-prospects-for-luxury-real-estate-sector\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the luxury real estate sector is going through good times in our country<\/a>; today, we will see which are the most expensive neighbourhoods to buy housing. According to the abovementioned study, <strong>in Madrid, Barrio de Recoletos is the most expensive area in Spain<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"750\" height=\"501\" src=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/01-exclusivos-1.jpg\" alt=\"The most exclusive neighbourhoods in spain to purchase property\" class=\"wp-image-34081\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/01-exclusivos-1.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/01-exclusivos-1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><figcaption>In Spain, Recoletos is the most exclusive neighbourhood to buy property: a flat there has an average cost of 8.793\u20ac\/m2<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be clarified that in this same neighbourhood the area commonly known as <strong>Barrio de Salamanca<\/strong> is located and boasts of having some of the most exclusive streets in the city, such as Vel\u00e1zquez, Serrano, Lagasca or Goya. <strong>Here, housing prices stand at 8.793\u20ac\/m2<\/strong>. This means that if we have a budget of one million euros, in Recoletos we could buy a flat of nearly 114 m2. In <strong>Barcelona<\/strong>, the most exclusive neighbourhood to purchase housing is<strong> Diagonal Mar i el Front Maritim del Poblenou<\/strong>, the average housing price here is 7.022\u20ac\/m2. In <strong>Palma de Mallorca<\/strong>, the most exclusive neighbourhood is <strong>La Seu-Cort-Monti-Sion<\/strong>, where <strong>purchasing a house costs an average amount of 6.870\u20ac\/m2<\/strong>. With our budget, we could buy around 145 m2. In <strong>San Sebasti\u00e1n<\/strong>, the most luxurious neighbourhood is the <strong>\u00c1rea Rom\u00e1ntica de Centro-Miraconcha<\/strong>, with an average price of <strong>6.798\u20ac\/m2<\/strong>. Hence, we could afford a house of 147 m2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"750\" height=\"348\" src=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/02-exclusivos-1.jpg\" alt=\"The most exclusive neighbourhoods in spain to purchase property\" class=\"wp-image-34082\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/02-exclusivos-1.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/02-exclusivos-1-300x139.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><figcaption>Panoramic view of Diagonal Mar i el Front Maritim del Poblenou, the most exclusive neighbourhood in Barcelona<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2>MADRID, THE MOST EXPENSIVE CITY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.estateone.biz\/blog\/luxury-housing-has-a-taste-for-madrid\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Madrid<\/strong> is <strong>a reference destination as regards luxury housing<\/strong> in Spain<\/a>. Proof of this is that in <strong>the areas of Castellana, Jer\u00f3nimos and El Viso<\/strong> the price per square metre is never below 7.000\u20ac ( any of these three areas beat the price of Diagonal Mar i el Front Maritim del Poblenou, the most expensive area in Barcelona ). The exact cost <strong>in Castellana, Jer\u00f3nimos and El Viso is 7.951\u20ac\/m2, 7.596\u20ac\/m2 and 7.123\u20ac\/m2 respectively<\/strong>. This means that with one million euros we could buy a flat of 126m2, 131m2 and 140m2 respectively. Further down a notch, is <strong>the neighbourhood of Pedralbes in Barcelona<\/strong> with an average price of <strong>6.665\u20ac\/m2<\/strong>, and the area of <strong>Sarri\u00e1<\/strong> with an average price of <strong>6.373\u20ac\/m2<\/strong>. Here, our house would have 150m2 and 157m2, respectively. In <strong>the neighbourhood of Son Vida in Palma de Mallorca<\/strong>, the average housing price is higher, standing at <strong>6.802\u20ac\/m2<\/strong>, meaning we could buy a house of around 147m2. We are referring to <strong>Almagro where the average price of a flat is 6.923\u20ac\/m2<\/strong>, <strong>Goya<\/strong> where the cost is <strong>6.441\u20ac\/m2 or Chueca (Justicia) <\/strong>with an average price of <strong>6.068\u20ac\/m2<\/strong>.
