The most exclusive streets to buy property

The most exclusive streets to buy housing in Spain are nowadays in the Balearics, Costa del Sol and Madrid. According to a study carried out, last month of August, by the real estate portal Idealista, the ten most expensive streets in Spain to purchase a house are located in these three areas. At first, it seems logical to think that the most expensive street is located in one of our large cities, however, this is not the case. Calviá, a town in Majorca with 50.000 inhabitants boasts of having the most expensive street in Spain to buy a house. This street is called Calle Sant Carles and the houses there cost more than seven million euros. As can be imagined, it is a wide and spacious street with garden areas and with a privileged view overlooking the sea. The second most expensive street is located in Benahavis a town of Málaga with less than 10.000 inhabitants. There, in the exclusive housing complex El Coto de la Zabaleta we find the second most expensive street in Spain to purchase a house, and the average price is also more than seven million euros though slightly below the price of Calle de Calviá. Thirdly, and also in the province of Málaga, in the town of Marbella, we have Calle Mozart where a house can reach the price of nearly six million euros. As we have seen, the podium of the most high-priced streets to buy property in our country is not taken up by any street in a large and great city.

COMPLETING THE TEN MOST EXPENSIVE STREETS

The rest of the most expensive streets in Spain to purchase property are divided in the following way: the fourth place is found in Urbanización Cascada de Cajomán, also located in Marbella, and its average housing price is around five and a half million euros. The fifth place is found in Madrid in Pozuelo de Alarcón, and specifically in Paseo de los Lagos in the luxurious housing complex called La Finca, where property reaches a price of more than five million euros. The sixth place is also in Madrid, in La Moraleja in the district of Alcobendas, where in Paseo Conde de los Gaitanes housing price reaches nearly five million euros. In seventh place, we return to Marbella where Calle Cañete also reaches a housing price of around five million euros. For the eighth place we go back to La Moraleja and specifically Calle del Camino Ancho where a house may fetch the price of around 4,7 million euros. The ninth place corresponds to another street in Marbella which is in the housing complex Sierra Blanca where houses cost around 4,6 million euros. Now we will complete the top ten and in tenth place we must go back to the area of Calviá in Majorca and there, in Vía Cornisa, a house costs around 4,6 million euros and this makes it the tenth most expensive street in Spain to purchase property.

STREETS WITH HOUSING PRICES ABOVE ONE MILLION EUROS

As we have seen, Málaga is the Spanish province most attached to luxury because five out of the ten streets we have looked at are located in Málaga. However, apart from these luxurious streets there are others where houses cost more than one million euros. We can highlight Avenida Rocaferrera in the municipality of Barcelona in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres where property costs more than four million euros. In Jávea (Community of Valencia), a house in Calle Pic Tort costs more than three million euros. In Adeje (Santa Cruz de Tenerife), a house in Calle Alcojora costs more than two million eight hundred euros. Lastly, in Paseo Miraconcha in San Sebastián, property costs more than one million four hundred euros.
