If our house is the place in which we spend many hours of the day throughout our lives, then the person who comes in, immediately feels and sees what we are like. Have we ever stopped to think that the way our house is decorated reveals many aspects of our personality? Our house is not only a place where we live but it is also part of ourselves. Each time we invite somebody into our home, we are offering very valuable information about ourselves. That is the reason why we believe in Estate One, that houses must have personality, must be unique and different as all human beings are. Would you like to see details of lived-in houses? We will show you!
SEVEN IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF A HOUSE
A house should be decorated, thus, giving hints concerning the personality of its inhabitants. If this is not the case, then the house, unfortunately, will turn out to be dull and grey. Let´s think about a hotel room which has been designed to accommodate every kind of person. Is this the decoration that we want for our house?
1. Light and brightness is a very important aspect of a house. It can have natural or artificial light which will add to its beauty.
2. The living room is a basic element. How do we like to decorate it? How will our friends feel when they come inside ? The choice we make regarding its decoration will show part of our personality.
3. Colour is essential. Rooms can change completely depending on what colour we paint them. Furthermore, wallpaper can be very appealing. What will our kitchen look like with coloured tiles ? It is convenient not to exaggerate with the colours of our house because in the long run we can get tired of them.
4. Industrial design can enhance the personality of a room and its atmosphere. Exposed brick walls can be a character building decoration. Moreover, household appliances in metallic colours convey a very personal and determined taste.
5. We attach great importance to plants in a home, we have already talked about it in this blog. What kind of plants do you have at home? Are they flowering plants ? Are they colourful ? How do they interact with the atmosphere ?
6. We have also previously mentioned how to design a kitchen. Each owner decides what is more practical: either to have an open kitchen next to the living room, or to have an independent one isolated from the rest of the house. The owner´s personality and needs will determine what is more suitable.
7. The furniture is a very distinctive element in a house. What do we prefer ? Modern furniture? Antique and restored furniture? Nordic style? Mediterranean style? When we choose, we define ourselves through our choice and taste.
