They think that this autumn domestic real estate will rectivate not only because of national investors but also due to foreign ones. It has not escaped anyone´s attention that this year 2020 is being battered by coronavirus in every field. Moreover, this has not only caused a huge number of victims throughout the world, but it has also held back the economy and destroyed innumerable jobs and businesses. Regarding 2020, the forecast for housing is uncertain and rather pessimistic. However, the forecast improves for 2021, and even more for 2022. Whilst domestic housing reinvents itself, we all keep a constant eye on the development of the pandemic and we are all hopeful about seeing light at the end of the tunnel. In the meantime, with present-centered awareness, we know that in spite of the delicate moments we are living through, many analysts are moderately optimistic regarding the autumn. This is because, currently, despite the difficulties, homebuyers wishing to invest in Spain still exist. Investments should take place in the upcoming months. Let´s take a look at this in detail.

Traditional residential rental, about which we recently wrote, as well as rental of properties used for offices have gained strength. Therefore, it stands to reason that deals will be closed, regarding this kind of business, in the coming months. Many property owners have been forced to reduce the price on account of this crisis. Hence, new investors should take advantage of this situation. As a matter of fact, experts have noticed that, this autumn, investment funds are interested in purchasing properties of the most affected sectors, such as the hotel industry. It is unquestionable that this health crisis has changed the rules of the game and thus, the deals which months ago would have been inconceivable for investors, are currently feasible. The matter is that the price reduction of some properties has led to an opportunity for investors.

Analysts agree on the fact that the discount produced by the health crisis will be a decisive factor in the investors decision to make a move. Moreover, some of them indicate that throughout this autumn activity will intensify on the part of investment funds. It is important to emphasize that everything depends on the evolution of the pandemic, because a second confinement would imply a new standstill regarding real estate activity. Let us hope this does not happen.
